Sean Carty has always lived in the west end of Ottawa, particularly Stittsville & Kanata. As a graduate of the 3 year Architectural Technology program at Algonquin College in 2002, Sean quickly found work close to home in Stittsville at a well known architectural firm. Over the course of 12 plus years Sean worked on countless residential projects of all sizes refining his design and technical skills. During that time he became a key component of the design and technical team developing considerable expertise in 3D modelling.

Darkhorse Residential Drafting & Design was first established in 2010 as a part time small business designing fine custom homes, cottages, extensive renovations & additions. After working with local, award winning Architect, David Mailing for 12 years, Sean decided to turn his small business into a full time operation in late 2014.

Sean currently resides in Kanata with his wife, three children and two dog.
